          You have probably noticed a major decrease in the amount of unsolicited junk e-mail in your ckt.net inbox. In an effort to prevent mail problems and provide our customers with a better e-mail service, we are using a new scanning and filtering software. This has made a very noticeable impact on the amount of spam that is delivered to your mailbox. All mail that is filtered will be kept in quarantine for a period of 35 days, at which point it will be deleted. If you suspect you have legitimate messages that may have been filtered, please call the Internet Helpdesk and they can e-mail a quarantine report to you. If you find a legitimate message in quarantine, they can then release it to your inbox, and add the sender to your trusted list. This filtering software has documented results of less than .01% false-positives with block rates greater than 98%. This means that you can feel confident that only the spam that you don't want will be removed.
